Scarlett is one of Kate's closest and only friends, providing support for one another as Seers. They often share visions to try and piece together what is going to happen to warn those involved in the hope that they can prevent something bad happening. The death of Samuel Cooper was an event that they both saw. When they tried to tell Evelyn Dalton what was going to happen, she dismissed their warning like most people did.
